Brave in Blue Inc. Golf Tournament in Memory of Stephen P. Mathews
Brave In Blue Inc. is a Non-Profit founded in memory of my brother, Stephen P. Mathews, who tragically passed away on January 8, 2026. Steve spent his adult life helping and protecting others while serving in the St. Petersburg Police Department in St. Petersburg, FL for 18 years. The goal of the Non-Profit is to help raise funds to support first responders who are seeking mental health treatment and services. First responders dedicate their lives to protecting others often at the cost of their own mental and emotional well being. The weight of trauma, long hours and repeat exposure to crisis can take a silent toll. Yet stigma, financial strain and limited access to specialized care frequently prevent many from seeking the help they need. Brave in Blue Inc. exists to change that.
